The team at Lindfield are all committed to your care, comfort and service.

Christopher Morrell

Christopher Morrel BDS, LDS, RCS (Eng)

Christopher qualified as a dentist from Guy’s Dental Hospital in 1983, gaining his Bachelor of Dental Surgery and Licentiate of Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons.

He started the practice in Amersham in 1983 with a view to building a practice that offers a wide range of treatments and care, in a supportive environment that benefits patients and staff alike.

Modern dentistry is continuously evolving, and Christopher has always kept ahead of the rapid technological advances; he has been working with dental implants since 1997, and maintains his clinical expertise through frequent participation in postgraduate training.

He is committed to keeping both his skills and his enthusiasm up-to-date and enjoys dentistry as much today as when he first began.

Anne Gordon

Anne Gordon BDS, LDS, RCS (Eng)

Anne joined the Lindfield Dental Surgery in 1991, and has been a key member of the team ever since.  She offers a calm and sympathetic approach to patients of all ages, and is particularly interested in hypnosis in dentistry.

Anne’s use of hypnosis as an adjunct to treatment has proved very effective with anxious patients, and many of her patients have benefited greatly from this technique to help dispel any qualms they may have.

Anne derives tremendous satisfaction from these positive outcomes and from helping patients’ confidence to grow; in her owns words, “seeing my patients as individuals is of paramount importance and is an essential factor in my approach to dentistry”.

Barbara Cutting

Barbara Cutting BDS

Barbara qualified from Guy's Hospital Dental School in 1988. Originally from London, she moved to Buckinghamshire in 1996, and joined the team at Lindfield in 2002.

She enjoys all aspects of her work, but has a particular interest in preventative dentistry and minimally-invasive techniques, keeping up-to-date with the very latest developments and procedures through regular participation in postgraduate courses.

Barbara is married and has two young children and can see from both her personal and professional experience how important it is to provide children with the best dental care and advice from the beginning, in order for them to enjoy the benefits for the rest of their lives

Marjorie Waye

Marjorie Waye Dip Dent Hygiene, BA Hon, EDH

Canadian by birth, Lindfield hygienist Marjorie gained her first hygienist’s qualification from the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Toronto (Dip.Dent.Hyg.) and a few years later went on to complete a B.A.(Hons.). She set up the first preventative dentistry programme in an Ontario long-term care hospital, and also taught oral care to dental hygiene and nursing students. After moving to England, she re-qualified at Guy’s in 1984 (Enrolled Dental Hygienist, EDH) during the time that Christopher and Anne were undergraduates there themselves. She has worked in practice, orthodontic and general practice and joined Lindfield in 1997.

While enjoying the clinical aspects of dentistry, Marjorie always tries to remember that each of our patients is an individual. She enjoys being part of a dedicated team that cares about the wellbeing of each and every patient.
